I have had a problem with weight gain since the age of 15. I had tried all of the fad diets, exercise, and fitness routines that have trended for years. Is was not until I was at the age of 40, that I discovered the benefits of eating foods that would help control my weight. Still, my health began to decline, and I was diagnosed with diabetes. Chronic fatigue syndrome had become a nightmare. I began my search on the web for a solution to my problem - when I discovered Brad Pilon's system for intermittent fasting, called Eat Stop Eat. I learned how intermittent fasting could help defend against Chronic Fatigue Syndrome & Fibromyalgia. Within several weeks I began to lose weight and feel better. My thinking became clear... I had to change my lifestyle and adopt this way of eating for the rest of my life. I am now 55 years old and in the best physical condition of my life! The system described in this book will help you to shed pounds quickly, control your blood sugar (high triglycerides) and much, much more. I made the decision to spread this knowledge to my family and friends about 10 years ago. I have since seen their lives dramatically changed by eating the right foods, at the right time. Our bodies were not designed to consume the "normal" amounts of food that we have grown up eating. Early man was able to eat, only when he hunted down game, or ate what he had planted! Never "three squares per day". Within these pages, you'll discover what scientific evidence supports the intermittent fasting lifestyle. If you follow these instructions, and stick to it - you'll find better health and longevity. Caloric Restriction is a term used to simply describe "controlling your food intake". You'll learn "when" to eat, and you'll eat the foods you enjoy! You cannot find a more fail-proof "diet" or way of living! Enjoy this book and post a review. We need to spread the word for people who have bought into false dieting claims, wasted their money on products that simply don't work, and desire a healthier body!

February 2007, a landmark clinical study by researchers at Harvard University was published in Biological Psychiatry and was soon picked up widely by the media. A survey of 3,000 participants found that 2.8 percent of them suffered from binge eating disorder (BED); that women were twice as likely to report binge eating; and that BED occurs across the age span, from children to the elderly. By extrapolating the statistics to the general population, health professionals estimate 5,250,000 American women and 3,000,000 men suffer from binge eating. The same month the study was published Jane Brody revealed in the New York Times that when she was a 23 years old, her food binges were so extreme that "Many mornings I awakened to find partly chewed food still in my mouth...." Cynthia Bulik, director of the UNC Eating Disorders Progam, is a foremost authority on binge eating. BED can affect anyone, and can be caused by brain chemistry, genetic predisposition, psychology, and cultural pressures--but none of those triggers make giving in to food cravings inevitable. Crave helps readers understand why they crave specific foods, recognize their individual triggers, and modify their responses to those triggers. Binge eating disorder is highly treatable; 70% to 80% of patients at the UNC Eating Disorders Program triumph over their binge eating by using techniques to "curb the crave". Through the stories of some of these patients--men and women, young and old--and with the guidance of Bulik, readers will develop a variety of strategies to use in conquering their cravings and establishing healthy eating habits.

Along with the many benefits of leisure-class living comes obesity and its attendant ailments. In The Warrior Diet, Ori Hofmekler looks not forward but backward for a solution–to the primal habits of early cultures such as nomads and hunter-gatherers, the Greeks, and the Romans. Based on survival science, this book proposes not ordinary dietary changes but rather a radical yet surprisingly simple lifestyle overhaul. Drawing on both scientific studies and historical data, Hofmekler argues that robust health and a lean, strong body can best be achieved by mimicking the classical warrior mode of cycling—working and eating sparingly (undereating) during the day and filling up at night. Specific elements from the Warrior Diet Nutritional Program (finding ideal fuel foods and food combinations to reduce body fat) to the Controlled Fatigue Training Program (promoting strength, speed, and resilience to fatigue through special drills), literally reshape body and mind. Individual chapters cover warrior meals and recipes; sex drive, potency, and animal magnetism; as well as personalizing the diet for women. Featuring forewords by Fit for Life author Harvey Diamond and Fat That Kills author Dr. Udo Erasmus, The Warrior Diet shows readers weary of fad diets how to attain enduring vigor, explosive strength, a better appearance, and increased vitality and health. From the Trade Paperback edition.

Would you like to eat what you want, stop when you want, lose weight and do this all without having to diet or exercise? Well, now you have the choice to do just that! Sora's Weight-Loss "Management" Program is a revolutionary no diet, weight-loss program that gives you those choices now! This no diet, weight-loss program lets you eat the foods that you really want and always be able to manage your cravings. Sora's Weight-Loss "Management" Program as taught in a workbook format teaches you how to use two simple eat and stop yourself techniques so that now you can become forever thin and healthy and all without having to diet. We all know that diets don't work because it's all about what you can't have which leaves you always wanting more of the food that you "really" want or more of the food that's on the diet. As a result of this, your diet keeps you consistently feeling deprived and that's why you'll find yourself either diet "bingeing" or diet "overeating" (depending on what you call it) to always get more of the food that you "really" want. Then after you diet "binge" or diet "overeat you feel terrible, beat yourself up for not being able to stay on your diet and then you feel that you have no choice but to return to your diet if you're truly hopeful of becoming thinner and healthier! But diets don't work! Diets don't work because they're not your rules! However, Sora's Weight-Loss "Management" Program as taught in a fun workbook format teaches you two simple eat and stop yourself techniques which are named The "Green" Technique and The "Red" Technique. The way that The "Green" Technique works is that it lets you have the food that you want but before you eat that food, you have to ask yourself, "How much is enough?" and "How much is too much?" Then once you've decided "How much is enough?" and How much is too much?", you have to set aside the amount that you decided was "too" much called your "Too" Much Marker. Then you can eat the amount that you decided was enough and by Program definition (as long as you can see your "Too" Much Marker) you will know that you have eaten and stopped yourself. Now The "Red" Technique works in a similar way to also let you eat and stop yourself but is different in the way that the actual technique works with the actual food. So that by now using The "Green" Technique and/or The "Red" Technique you will always be able to eat what you want, stop when you want and become forever thin and healthy and yes, all without having to diet! In addition, the program also teaches you how to use three exciting no diet, weight-loss "management" strategies. These three additional no diet, weight-loss "management" strategies help to support you in reaching your no dieted, weight-loss goal in the very shortest amount of time possible! So why stay an unhappy dieter managed by deprivation, potential diet "overeating" or diet "bingeing" with the likelihood of you regaining your weight once you've reached your weight-loss goal when now you can eat what you want, stop when you want, and become forever thin and healthy and yes, all without having to diet! Don't you deserve that choice "today"?
